　　Roony问话Did he指Aziz seem to tolerate us the brutal conqueror征服者, the sun-dried bureaucrat官僚主义者, that sort of thing?"
　　晒干的，译成无情无义
　　嗯，是啊，这调戏实在是没法译啊，分明是嘲讽加调戏M。

　　"Oh, yes, I think so, except the Callendars he doesn't care for the Callendars at all."
　　译成不喜欢Callendar夫妇。
　　但也可以说不管日子啊。这胆子够大的啊

　　"Oh. So he told you that, did he? The Major少校指Callendar， will be interested. I wonder what the aim of the remark was."
　　哈哈哈，Roony要去M那边告状了。

　　"Ronny, Ronny! you're never going to pass it on to Major Callendar?"
　　Moore/F赶紧求情。
　　"Yes, rather. I must, in fact!"
　　哈哈哈，这话真像M的口气。

　　"But, my dear boy a private conversation!"
　　好吧，Moore，这话真是够私人的了。。。汗
　　"Nothing's private in India. Aziz knew that when he spoke out, so don't you worry. He had some motive in what he said. My personal belief is that the remark wasn't true."
　　Roony很敏锐哦，发现了F的调戏。
　　"How not true?"
　　"He abused辱骂 the Major in order to impress you."
　　好吧，Roony，也许你说对了，这话还真是让任何读者都对Aziz/F印象深刻啊。。。。

　　When he said "of course there are exceptions" he was quoting Mr. Turton特顿常说例外, while “increasing the izzat尊严" was Major Callendar's own.卡伦德常说尊严
　　所以Turton说话清晰而冠冕堂皇，因为退休梗。Callendar常常自尊。Roony则又过于骄傲和在乎监视。

　　but you really must not hand on to Major Callendar anything I have told you about Doctor Aziz."
　　Moore要求Roony不向Callenda/M透露Aziz/F的话。
　　he promised, adding, "In return please don't talk about Aziz to Adela."
　　Roony则要求Moore不向Adela透露Aziz/F的行为。
　　这么推测对应的话，Adela应该主线上是M的分身之一哦。

　　Roony不愿意Adela烦恼，所以Adela更接近于M的潜意识。
　　She is very, very fair-minded."
